THE TEAM
SAMMY SILVER
DIRECTOR | EXECUTIVE PRODUCER | HEAD OF CREATIVE CONTENT
"Sammy Silver doesn’t chase attention. He shapes it — deliberately, collaboratively, and under pressure.”
Creativity has never been one thing — or one lane. It’s closer to juggling ideas, people, timing, pressure, and instinct. Sometimes chaos. Sometimes magic. Usually both.
For more than 18 years, Sammy Silver has worked as an Executive Creative Director, Director, and Executive Producer, shaping global campaigns, live events, film, and original content across entertainment, sports, music, and culture for ESPN, Disney, HBO, NBCUniversal, WarnerMedia, and beyond.
At his core, Sammy is a filmmaker and storyteller. His love for film informs everything he does — from live television and global broadcasts to cinematic brand storytelling and immersive experiences. He believes storytelling isn’t about noise or spectacle; it’s about connection. If people don’t feel it, it doesn’t matter how good it looks.
That philosophy has carried across culture, sports, music, and film — with work spanning Monday Night Football, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Real Time with Bill Maher, the United Nations Opening Ceremonies, NBA: Black Is King with Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, John Legend Christmas Special, XFL with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, HBO Def Poetry, Off The Record Featuring U2 & Ringo Starr, Pepsi America Campaign, FUR: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus, Dave Matthews "Out of My Hands", The Summer/Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies, World Cup 2026-The City of Seattle, collaborations with artists and icons including Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Black Pink, Kate Winslet, Clive Owen, Phil Collins, The Rolling Stones, and more — across more than 25 countries.
His career began in live music and touring — producing concerts and comedy specials — where timing is unforgiving, production is real, and the audience lets you know immediately if something’s working. That foundation shaped everything that followed: respect for craft, instinct under pressure, and an out-of-the-box approach to solving problems when the stakes are high.
What sets Sammy apart isn’t staying in a single box — it’s connecting them. Creative, production, talent, and technology moving in the same direction, especially when the pressure’s on. He gravitates toward the messy middle, where ideas are fragile, execution matters, and the work either becomes real or disappears.
He’s less interested in repeating what’s worked than discovering what hasn’t been tried yet.
He stays close to the work by choice — directing talent, leading crews, and collaborating with other creatives to shape ideas into finished pieces that live beyond the pitch. Mentorship matters to him. So does collaboration. The work gets better when people feel ownership in it.
Sammy is a six-time Emmy Award winner.
That part’s nice.
What matters more is whether the work connects — especially when the moment is loud, the clock is ticking, and everyone’s watching.
To create space for new ideas, original films, and genuine collaboration, Sammy founded The Electric Elephant — not as a traditional agency, but as an extension of how he lik
es to work. A creative home for filmmakers, writers, producers, artists, and technologists to build together, experiment, and make new things.
When he’s not working, Sammy splits his time between New York and Florida — usually with his dog Shayna nearby, live music in the background, or a pastrami on rye from Katz’s that he insists is still undefeated.

HEAD OF PRODUCTION
STILL / CREATIVE
Art and creation at this point in my life are about keeping the content as pure as possible, however simple or complicated the subject matter may be, with minimal manipulation and no overthinking, because I feel almost everything and every subject has been done, redone, copied, worked on … it seems to me that the logical direction is to go back to basics, following one's instinct to create, not to copy or follow the trend but to be original.
This has ALWAYS been my goal and utmost integrity when itcomes to any creativity or art form, especially my work - to be as original as possible, without direct influence or copy of other people's work. I have worked with Vanity Fair, W, New York Times magazine, Interview, Details ... among many other publications. Campaigns include clients like Giorgio Armani, Freepeople, Kenneth Cole, Sean John, Levi's, Charles Jourdan, L'oreal, Revlon, MAC, Redken, Matrix, Wella, Sony music … and many more. The newest addition is Jack, one of the projects that I am currently working on now.
At a very young age I left my family and home in Asia in order to study abroad, starting with a strict boarding school in the UK. I always loved creative endeavors, and got started with photography at the age of 16, which I found to be an exciting new art form for me. Splitting my time between London and Paris, I started to “play“ a lot with this medium and got hooked on it, I started shooting on the street - people, and friends - and slowly fashion and advertising soon came along. This hobby followed me even when I started college at UC Berkeley, where I studied architecture ... and somehow everything that I have learnt through my culture, travel, people, studies and experiences have merged and infused into my way of thinking and my creativity.
My heart is to create fresh new art, both in photography and film … to never stop learning, evolving, dare to dream, to impact and influence the media and the world in an exciting new way.
